[K-FASHION] 코웰패션에서 인적분할하여 2월 2일 코스닥시장에 상장한 폰드그룹(대표 임종민, 김유진)이 이탈리아에 본사를 둔 글로벌 의류회사인 KAPPA S.r.l.과 브랜드 라이선스 계약을 체결했다.
계약기간은 2024년 7월부터 2027년 12월까지 3년 6개월이다.
카파(Kappa)는 이탈리아를 기반으로 한 글로벌 패션 브랜드로, 스포츠와 스트리트 패션을 접목한 독특한 스타일로 세계적으로 인정받고 있다.
카파는 특유의 로고 디자인과 품질 높은 제품으로 패션 업계에서 주목받고 있으며, 특히 스포츠 웨어와 캐주얼 웨어, 스포츠용품이 강점이다.
폰드그룹은 오는 7월부터 홈쇼핑, E-커머스, 자사몰 등을 통하여 카파의 남녀 스포츠의류, 언더웨어, 레포츠슈즈, 악세서리 등 전 카테고리, 다양한 품종을 소비자들에게 소개할 계획이며 이를 통해 카파를 종합브랜드로 성장시키고자 한다.
특히 성장하고 있는 E-커머스 시장을 공략하기 위하여 유명 대형 인터넷몰들을 통해서도 판매할 예정이다.
폰드그룹 관계자는 "이번 카파 계약은 타브랜드와는 달리 제약없이 회사에서 주도적으로 기획, 디자인하며 자체적인 전략을 펼 수 있게 되어 있다.” 며 “타 라이선스 브랜드보다 확장가능성이 있고 카테고리도 다양하기 때문에 매출기여도가 클 것으로 예상된다”고 말했다.
